Spiritfarer OST // Interview with Max LL

Thunder Lotus Games are an indie dev team from Montreal whos catalouge includes Juntun, Sundered and the recently released Spiritfarer. All three of these titles have been scored by Max LL a Canadian multi-instrumentalist who has created the music for an extensive resume of short films, documentarys, games and commercials. His music has been preformed by Montreal's Metropilitan Orchestra and he recently released not only the Spiritfarer OST but also a lovely 5 song EP called Regeneration. Thunder Lotus describes Spiritfarer as "a cozy managment game about dying." Guildlings OST // Interview with Pedro Silva

Most of you know Pedro Silva from their enormous contribution to modern chiptune a la everyones favourite 8bit/dreampop/VGM project Slime Girls. Pedro is an incredibly talented musician, composer, and performer from Los Angeles, California and they are responsible for this meticulously crafted 20 track OST. Guildlings is a story driven RPG episodic adventure from Sirvo Studios with an endearingly unique premise and a focus of exploration, conversation and non-traditional combat. The art style is akin to low poly 5th generation console games like Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards and modern day indie contemporaries like The Flame in the Flood. The music does an excellent job of punctuating the...

Summer in Mara OST // Interview with Adrián Berenguer

Chibig are an indie dev team based in Valencia, Spain. Their games focus heavily on adventure and world building. All of their games, Tiny planet, Ankora, and Deiland are refered to as the 'Deiland' Saga and exist within the same universe. Chibig's latest project, Summer in Mara, while part of that universe, serves as a stand alone story.  A serene exploration game full of stunning set pieces and delightfully hand drawn cut scenes. Summer in Mara sees you sailing from island to island, making friends, solving problems, and doing a whole lot of crafting. I've seen several reviewers argue that the soundtrack is by far the best part of...

Impact Winter OST

I have a bad habit of getting emotionally invested in IPs that no one gives a shit about. Not in the typical 'I found it first' or 'This is so underated' kind of way though because generally these properties are, for the most part, accurately rated. Impact Winter is a game I really enjoyed and the IP will now, most likely, sit in a vault at BANDAI NAMCO until I die. The game sees you and your floating Ako-Light robo companion explore a city buried in snow and gather supplies to keep a group of survivors alive for 30 days until you can be airlifted out of...
